Beam for Live

1.3.1

April 29, 2022

Additions and improvements

  • Discovering Art-Net nodes and sending them Art-Net data (ArtDmx packets) now works correctly in ranges 2.x.x.x and 10.x.x.x.
  • Instructions in Preferences -> Output now mention the Art-Net node discovery option.
  • MovingHead, Par, Strobe, Recolor devices: Hue parameter Modulation mode was incorrectly set to Absolute. Now set to Unipolar.
  • Update limit of device parameters in all Beam devices increased to 16 ms (previously 1 ms), which greatly reduces CPU load and allows working with larger numbers of modulation parameters.

Fixes

  • Fixed issue where New menu bar option did not work while in Fixture Editor. Instead of New, there are now New Patch and New Fixture Profile menu bar options (also accessible using keyboard shortcuts Command+N and Control+N). The commands now bring the relevant editor to front or open it if not visible.
