Beam for Max manual
Beam for Max is a fully integrated lighting control solution for Cycling ‘74’s Max. Create audiovisual works with synchronized interaction between light, sound and visuals.
Working with lighting hardware requires knowledge about fixtures and data protocols. This manual, as well as our Handbook lowers the entry barrier by providing some background information.
This manual assumes that you have basic knowledge of Max. You can always visit the Learn section on Cycling '74's website for more information on using Max.
To install Beam for Max, click here to reveal the Beam for Max package in the Package Manager. Click the Install button to download and install the package.
Once the package has been installed, launch the package by going to the Extras menu, and then click Beam for Max - Overview. There you can find everything you may need, with extensive help patches for each of Beam's objects.
