Additions​

  • Added Fixture Editor to the "Beam for Max - Overview" patcher and Extras menu.
  • Updated "Beam for Max - Setting up" tutorial patcher about fixture profiles to mention Fixture Editor and a recommended practice for storing user fixture profiles.

Fixes​

  • When using a fixture with the RGBWI colorspace, DMX values for color channels are now normalized and the intensity is controlled with the intensity channel only.
  • Sending multiple universes to a single Art-Net target now sends DMX packets with correctly incremented Sequence fields. This resolves performance issues when outputting DMX to GrandMA consoles.
  • Fixes a bug where I/O Editor list wouldn't get updated when loading I/O configuration dictionaries or JSON files with only inputs or only outputs.

Fixes​

  • Fixed a crash when attempting to read from a directory without read permissions.
  • Fixed an edge case where Max couldn't find the beam.monitor abstraction.
  • Fixed help file and tutorial patchers to prevent moving heads from pointing downwards, which made some examples less effective.
  • Fixes an issue where activating "Test" on moving heads in Beam - Demo Set would result in fixtures pointing in confusing off-stage directions.
  • Fixed text visibility issues in Beam for Max patchers when using light themes. Improved visibility when using dark themes.
  • Updated License Manager text to reflect periodic output pauses.
